She is sought after for her specialist expertise in relationship property law and is appointed by the Family Court to represent individuals who do not have the mental capacity to make or communicate decisions regarding their property or personal care and welfare.
Dr Jane Adams is our most highly qualified team member with a PhD in History and Law. She has worked as a lawyer in large corporate law firms both in New Zealand and Australia. She completed her post doctorate fellowship at the University of Otago Legal Issues Centre and has taught courses in the History programme. Until recently Jane was part of the property law teaching team at the University of Otago Faculty of Law. She is an excellent teacher and communicator to our junior staff member and she provides our clients with expert advice on property law, trusts, estates and relationship property.
Rachel is an Associate who advises on a range of commercial and intellectual property matters, with a particular focus on trade marks and privacy law. Prior to starting at Marks & Worth Lawyers, Rachel worked in-house in the UK in the pharmaceutical and financial services industries.
