Joined Marks & Worth in 2014

Working within the legal industry since 2003, Stephanie embraces her weekday morning productivity routine of coffee and a run. Then it’s meetings with staff and clients, on the phone, drafting legal documents and doing online research. Time in the office is punctuated by Court appointments or meeting with other legal firms.

Stephanie enjoys the variety and mix of people and cases, and appreciates the privilege of being there for clients going through major changes and challenges, walking alongside them and helping them through. Positive milestones, like first home buyers securing their first home, or new couples setting up their joint legal affairs also keep her inspired.

In 2014, Stephanie approached Sally – a friend and mentor at a previous firm – for a coffee. One thing led to another, and she’s been at Marks & Worth ever since. Bitten by the legal bug when she began first year law at university, Stephanie’s legal role model is Atticus Finch, of To Kill a Mockingbird as a voice for the vulnerable. We have it on good authority that her party trick is singing Happy Birthday in Afrikaans.
